Bit of blog/update hoarding but whatever. We've been slowly progressing in our cognitive behavioral therapy and meditative practice and similar avenues of self-improvement, though yet still it's not enough. We ultimately have about 7 or so major life problems we have to solve, and solving no. 1 (anxiety) is the key to solving the rest of them, so we must keep on trying, retaining diligence and fighting complacency. Anyway lore page is somewhat less under-construction now (there is content there!!! headspace page still WIP). - Kii
We finished reading the Iliad the other day, and today we finished reading the footnotes (we were reading the Alexander Pope translation with annotations by Theodore Alois Buckley). 8/10. My favorite part was when Achilles told that one messenger Agamemnon sent on a treaty-making mission to buzz off. The system-wide consensus on "awesome/favorite part" was when Achilles pissed off Scamander and nearly died. I'd say the most impactful part was the death of Patroclus, honestly had me crying a bit. - Kii
honestly been a rough day, not in the sense of being hard but in the sense of having a multitude of mental issues. mental breakdown and was dissociating and the like and on the verge of tears. M3 calmed me down and comforted me and things went back to normal - Liz
We've been watching the Pokémon anime recently (TPCi has been uploading Indigo League on a new Pokémon TV Youtube channel) and I've had sporadic cameo-shifts to some sort of Pikachu-demihuman during it.
Artist rendition:
Left (Figure A) is my usual vibe, and right (Figure B) is what the Pikachu-demihuman cameo-shifted form feels to be. - Kii
We watched a film called "Koyaanisqatsi" today. It was kinda enlightening as to the horrors of industrialization, though definitely slid our personal doomsday clock a notch closer to that of a certain neoluddite of infamy. Besides all that, it had a unique and interesting vibe. Definitely felt like we were watching the Golden Record from the Voyager spacecraft, or something of the sort. - Kii
We've been working towards fixing our various anxieties and the like so we can come out as trans to our mom, and great strides have been made, but great strides are not yet great enough. Got a cute oversized hoodie though :D - Kii
We finished reading "Hearing Voices, Demonic and Divine: Scientific and Theological Perspectives" by Christopher C. H. Cook today! We've been reading it a good bit each day (1ch/d) for a few days (though previously we had read slightly into it and stopped) and today we read like 3 chapters and finished. Honestly kinda awesome. It was fairly enlightening as to the general structure of a somewhat academic and yet not of tutelage book, and was a good insight into the overarching structures and diverse practices, views, and forms of Christianity, alongside the various ways in which auditory hallucinations may manifest and their propensity to have some degree of meaning in select parts of the population. It was a good read for the sake of understanding the views and perspectives of others and understanding subjectivity in interpretation and viewpoints. - Kii
We've been getting a lot of old men and monks and witches and wizards and the like in our yt recs recently and it is very sagacity-ful. also very quest-core - Liz
Got this website up and goin' after about a month of procrastination/etc. Many life lessons learned in other aspects of life, namely what scale of task is and isn't worth doing. Liz wants to improve more in life, so that sort of thing will likely be quite prevalent in the coming days/weeks. - Kii
